A couple of weeks ago Travis and I picked out our first Christmas tree together. We got everything all set up at his house and spent an evening decorating it. Once the tree was finished we decided to start the tradition of buying one another an ornament each year, so we could slowly accumulate special ornaments to decorate with in future Christmases.
Today, Travis told me he'd found a special ornament for me, so I ran over to the tree to check it out. As Travis knelt down to show me the ornament, I realized there was something more hanging from the branch. Tucked inside the ornament was a beautiful sparkly diamond ring. At that same moment Trav got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. Of course I said yes along with lots of tears.
So, now begins the planning for our wedding. We are excited to have you all be a part of this, and will keep you posted as we choose a date and things progress.
